Its another opinion of Christian Horner and nothing more, it amazes me what the press will make news of when there is no news!

I'd fear him too if I were Hamilton.  Very good chance if the Red Bull is competitive that Verstappen will go Vercrashin into Hamilton and cost him big points. 

I do not suddenly see the Honda unit being powerful enough consistently enough to be a real challenge.

Just some sub editor spinning the story, the fact that makes most sense in the whole piece is:- "should his Red Bull team prove competitive in 2019".  :D

Now why would Lewis be over concerned by the Red Bull with a Honda engine at this stage, maybe if they show well in testing and they take pole in Oz then everyone, Lewis included, might take them more seriously.

I don't think Hamilton worried about the RB with a Renault
engine so I doubt he's giving the Honda powered a second thought

I used to like Horner but it seems he has been dragged into the Marko BS style press-releases.
It seems to me that Hamilton doesn't 'fear' anyone - in fact he loves the challenge of close racing. He probably worries that Max will cause accidents rather than offer a fair challenge but I'm sure he considers Vettel as his biggest challenger and will have a healthy respect for LeClerc, Max, Gasly and probably Kimi in the rapidly improving Sauber / Alfa. I think RBR's rash PR statements could bite them in the early season unless the Honda is immediately fast and reliable (unlikely!).

I think everyone’s afraid of Max, especially going into the first corner. Unfortunately due to lackidazical punishments, they need to be nervous when they are anywhere near him during the race, or heaven forbid, they try to overtake hide and he targets them.

Max is a danger to F1, but as long as he has a Honda lump, it should only be a problem when he is ignoring blue flags.

I'm not sure how much is fear and how much is knowledge that Max is allowed to do a bunch of things nobody else, because of what in another decade would have been deemed favouritism too blatant to ignore. It's only because Max isn't a title threat that this hasn't already boiled over (much).
