Title: Will ban on MG-H in 26 make F1 cars harder to drive?
Post by: John S on August 21, 2022, 01:40:51 PM
Almost certainly yes as turbo lag will be back.  |-(   :swoon:

Alternate Turbo lag solutions will be closed off by F1 fuel limits.  :o
No banging, popping & fire breathing a la WRC then.  :D

Although MG-H ban may suit Audi/Porsche, it could well have been done just to create harder to drive F1 cars. Perhaps FIA are starting to believe off stage voices who say current F1 cars may be too easy to drive, after all FOM are constantly pushing them for a more combative/closer style of racing.  ::)

P.S. Sorry for 80 sec sponsor section in youtube vid, it's worth rolling thru though - honest.
