Sad news,I remember him going back to 50 years ago.

The star, known for his role as Bruce Wayne's butler, Alfred, in Tim Burton's "Batman" films, passed away on Thursday. The cause of death is unknown.

Gough started his acting career playing a range of roles in Hammer movies, including 1958's "Dracula" and "Phantom of the Opera" in 1962, before going on to win a Best Actor Tony award for the stage show "Bedroom Farce" in 1979.

He then rose to prominence playing Alfred Pennyworth in Burton's "Batman" franchise from 1989.

Gough also worked with Burton on the films "Sleepy Hollow," "Corpse Bride" and "Alice in Wonderland," alongside Johnny Depp.
