I had to pinch myself to make sure I hadn't nodded off and dreamed this. Can Red Bulls gearbox be so fragile that a passing tram may knock it out, or is it a load of Old Bull?

You can imagine what it would be like if there was lightening near the track.

I'm thinking KERS next season, are Red Bull developing an electrical or mechanical system? :DntKnw:
With the shocking situation at BMW lets hope RB have opted for the latter or there may be 'trouble at Mill'.

RBR are developing an electrical system and have already had to evacuate their factory once because some batteries overheated and gave off some nasty fumes.

I've read about this in several places. They are also linking SeaBass's gearbox failure in Friday practice to the same cause. They say stray electrical signals caused them to try to select two gears at once. In Webber's case, 5th & 7th.
