A group of naughty people will not be getting any Christmas presents this year after attacking Santa Claus with mince pies.
The incident happened in a Scottish shopping centre as Santa was handing out treats to customers.
Santa was not injured during the attack, but shopping centre officials have now provided him with a hard hat to ensure the yobs don't strike again.
Shoppers were left shocked after the incident, which involved mince pies being thrown from an upper-level of the centre.
"We are a multi-level centre, and have taken this somewhat drastic action to protect Santa from possible injury," said centre manager Andrew MacKinnon.
"Such an incident does give rise to health and safety concerns, and we take the safety of our staff very seriously."
MacKinnon says antlers have been added to the hard hat in order to "Christmas it up a bit".
Although the identities of those involved have not been revealed, Santa has made assurances that he knows who they are and says they will not be getting any Christmas presents this year.
