Title: How did you find us?

We seem to have gotten a flood of new members in the past week or so. Welcome to all of you. Glad to have you here!

I was wondering, how did you first find or hear of GP Wizard?

Apparently, the defunct Pitlane forum membership was passed on to GP-Wizrd.  As a member there, I received an email invitation to this forum.

Ditto to Chameleon.

I'd been a member at pitlane as most of the time there seemed to be reasoned debate and a fair sprinkling of people with proper knowledge (rather than regurgitated nonsense).

I'll be resting here for the time being - contributing when I feel there is something worthwhile to say or I can draw on my (limited in many respects) knowledge and experience to the perceived benefit of the forum.

I seem to be about to add another chapter in a popular story...
I was a brief member of Pitlane, who I joined when someone posted a link on another forum I visit. I had a look and it seemed pretty good, so I registered. After that folded I too recieved an email from here, again I had a look & it seemed ok, so......

I have mentioned it elsewhere but I am another refugee from Pit Lane.  Shame it closed as I really enjoyed the tone of it.  I enjoyed the discussions even with people who I totally disagreed with.  Like JB I was getting withdrawal symptons as I hadn't used a forum for a couple of years and received an invite to Pit Lane and got totally hooked by it for the few months I was aware of it.  I am really pleased happy so many of its regular contributors took up the invite to come hear.

Yes. And it is because of that I have registered. Really enjoyed reading the contributions of you people in the short time that we were blessed with Pitlane.

A quick look throughout the forum suggests that it is one of quality debate without the interference from the usual tosspot trolls that you find on many forums.

johnbull, funnily enough my dad works at an old people's home (a bricks-and-mortar one, and as far as I'm aware, not containing any motorsport enthusiasts). It's a small world, isn't it?

Hiya

I'm a member of another forum that use to have a brilliant chat room (didn't it Redfive) someone put a thread on their about pitlane and i registered and the rest i guess you all already know lol

Had email to join for a while just never got round to it, so thought today was as good a day as any.

By the way changed my name too, wasn't Shell on the other but people who know me will know who i was. (does that make sense???)
