CNN had coverage of your snowstorm this morning. They said London was almost completely shut down. they said it's the first time in decades you've had one like that.

Our last one was Wednesday - over about 1/2 inch of ice.

Dare was saying that you was having it bad over there with the freezing rain and snow. Think we've got a fair bit more snow to come according to the weather report.

No I don't Ian,over 1,000 inches in a season is hard to believe

John I think you have our problem.Big snowfalls are fairly
rare here too and when they do occur our city can't really
handle it.Plus at the forecast of any snow sends everyone
to the store for bread and milk

I did take some pics the other day but since we've had more last night here's some new ones.

Our gritters have run out of grit. It's chaos out there with people abandoning cars.

We stocked up the bunker on Tuesday. Not much left though  :-[

Went out for a ramble today and took some more pics. I'll put them up tomorrow. It was very very white.

to be desired there.I do have to admit
they do a pretty good job on the main

I heard on the TV this morning that you might get more snow this week-end. I know how you feel. We've had snow & ice for over a month.

It's supposed to get above freezing & rain here this week-end, so we may finally get some of it cleared off
