Michel Legrand Dies
« on: January 28, 2019, 09:49:22 PM »
French composer Michel Legrand died today at the age of 86. He was best know to the general public for works like The Umbrellas of Cherbourg and songs like The Windmills of Your Mind. He's best know to folks like us for the score of one of the greatest racing films ever made, Steve McQueen's LeMans.

The music starts at the 2:54 mark:

Bravo, Monsieur Legrand  :good:

“You can search the world over for the finer things, but you won't find a match for the American road and the creatures that live on it.”
― Bob Dylan

Actually the music started right at the beginning, a symphony in 12 cylinders. The keyboard came in at the 2:54 mark.   8)
