Watch an avalanche cover I-70 near Vail in Colorado. Fortunately, no cars were trapped and no one was injured.

For a second I thought that I was finally going to see some snow this year, the screen went white and my hopes went up, then it flashed up "sorry not available in my region"  :'(

Yup, if it's not regional coded restrictions, then it's survey garbage, before you can even read the article.  My answer, if you don't want to be on the web, DON'T BE!!!!!!!!!!!!  |-(

Okay, rant over!  :DD

Best Regards,
Cal :)

That might have been earlier reports...turns out there were three cars caught in the debris, no nobody hurt.

Perfect storm for the avalanche to bring it all the way to the highway.

We've had our local issues along these lines.

With such a bizarre long/cold winter, we've experienced large landslides across two sections of a local Highway half an hour south of us.  One video showed vehicles driving towards the section of highway, minutes after the primary slide.  A huge plume of dirt cam across all four lanes and drivers couldn't see a thing in front of them.  It's now been a month since the initial slide (with several more collapses in two key areas).   This part of the highway just opened yesterday morning ... and drivers are still nervous on this stretch of road.

Best Regards,
Cal :)
