Both Abarth and Alpine were separate marques before being absorbed by FIAT and Renault, respectively.

Didn't Chris Amon field a car under his own name in the early 1970's? Amon-Ford?

Well done Cossie. I missed both Alpine and Amon.

Yes Amon did in fact build his own GP car.
