hackers?

   a few months ago I tried to visit this site and some
   pretty graphic mideast pictures were displayed.this
   subject has been mentioned before.Earlier while
   trying to get on this site I kept getting directed
   to variouss adult sites,anyone else have this problem?

This is worrying dare, I would be very interested to hear if anyone has had a similar problem.

I have checked all links my end and all appears to be working correctly with no signs of any tampering.

   It was around 2am here so it would be
   approx. 7 your time.I had been on site
   a little before and everything fine.I have
   gpwizard bookmarkes so tried to manually
   type in address and still went to adult
   site.Tried later sat. morning and back
   to norm.

   Had just updated to newest version of firefox
   Thur. and couldn't plat youtbe videos and
    pc would freeze.Wonder if that could have
    been the problem?Reformatted last nite to
    earlier version of firefox and pc is just fine
