F1 has registered a number of tags for a Grand Prix in Chicago. Unless another race is dropped, that would be a 4TH US race.

No thank you!

I'm all for F1 having more races than they have calendar slots, and rotating races in and out. Miami and Chicago alternating years, for example.
I'm not sure it makes business sense as a track promoter, but not my problem as a fan lol.
I get that F1 is going 'all in' on America, it's been an undertapped market for a long time. I just hope they don't assume Americans will love F1 forever. If anything changes and the fans lose interest for a moment, the value of American races will plumet fast, and any market burned to make room for American races might be a hard sell too.

If you drive there you'd best be packing and have some great
full coverage insurance. And maybe make your Will

And be prepared to be stuck in traffic jam long enough to meet residency requirements for voting.
I still don't understand why a country with some of the finest road circuits in the world is mired down with multiple craptastic street parades "races."

There's parts of Chicago the Police won't even go in

I imagine it would be a daytime race and for that it works better for viewing times for me.
I would rather watch as race in Chicago then Vegas any time.
But, once again a street race through a very busy city will be a huge imposition to the locals for what gain on their part?
It takes a week at least for Monaco to put up all armco etc each year and they have infrastructure in place for it all.

If they can incorporate the Bluesmobile into the race weekend in some capacity, then all the murders and traffic and infrastructure inconvenience will be totally worth it :-*

After Liberty chucked out Andretti, I suspect that a) audiences might not be forgiving and b) the FIA might be mysteriously reluctant to agree the expansion, citing hitherto-unquoted "pressures on FIA personnel" or something like that.
