Indeed, no surprise at all!! .. and it took them all this time to figure out an approach which most fans already realised. I have a couple of 2x4's, an old radiator cover and some heat register panels (which can all be held together with an old metal coat hanger), surely that would be worth sticking on the cars???
All the best,
Cal :)

I'll believe they've solved it when we see it happening race after race.
Ross and Pat Symonds know that a solution dreamed up after spending a few hundred K will soon be out flanked by teams with hundreds of Millions to throw at the problem.

John, how much fun would it be if they decided to build cars like your current avatar? .... by all means, let them use modern technology to some degree, but you can't help thinking that it would make "a great show" for the fans!!

Hey John,I think he means when racing was racing. If Max
was racing then he'd already be planting daisies and we'd be
saying he was fast but didn't have any sense.

Either that or someone like Sir Jack Brabham would have "persuaded" him to be a bit more cautious.
-
Or his team would have booted him out after three races because they could get 12 drivers less crash-prone (and thus more likely to finish races and score points) than him in the local supermarket...
