With just rumour and speculation F1 is very quiet in fact at the moment it's making reading the F1 news quite boring I'll be pleased when the launches and testing begins.
-
Since it's all rumours this time of year anyway, why not start some of our own?
The more outlandish, the better, I say.
For example, the REAL reason that Hamilton and Mercedes can't come to an agreement is that Lewis and Toto's negotiation sessions devolved into writing sessions. Once the pandemic is over, they're headed to Broadway with their new play 'Hamilton: A Silver Arrows Musical'

Jeri I heard yesterday that for 2022 we are getting V8's back and in 2025 V10's, no budget caps and the rules has been torn up.
How fast would they be?

Probably slower than 2020 cars, too much energy expelled in heat and noise to match the current super efficient hybrid PUs I reckon Andy.
Oh and there'd be no need for budget cap as old tech would be at least half the price, well for the power element anyway.
Beware on trashing all the aero rules too, might end up with the most fatalities in many a long year.

'Would depend upon the regs, as in any series.
I heard otherwise.....'just bringing back the few-rules CanAm. And to speed things up, 'starting by pulling some oldies out of mothballs to get things rolling 2021. Running F1 on Saturday as a support series, and the CanAm on Sunday as the premiere (F2 whimps can run on Friday)...... :)

Bring back the riding mechanic to save the poor loves from having to fiddle with the buttons and settings each lap so they can concentrate on driving. ;)

Formula 1 announced today that it has completely retooled that 2022 rules. F1 will become a single supplier spec racer series. The new alternative fuel cars will come from the world famous Acme Corporation.
