The FIA announced Tuesday that all 3 free practice sessions and quali for Imola will be moved forward 1 hour. This is being done as a mark of respect to the Royal funeral for His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, that will take place on Saturday.

Friday:
FP1:  11:00 - 12:00
FP2:  14:30 - 15:30

Saturday:
FP3:  11:00 - 12:00
Quali:14:00 - 15:00

Sunday:
Race: 15:00 - 17:00

Good post Cos.  :good:
Bit suprising F1 moving the Quali, guess they're putting it under umbrella of "We race as one" and showing their sensitive side for British teams & fans.

Track time is CET time, UK now on BST an hour earlier, and US (Eastern time) 6 hours earlier.

so UK times are :-

Friday:
FP1:  10:00 - 11:00
FP2:  13:30 - 14:30

Saturday:
FP3:  10:00 - 11:00
Quali:13:00 - 14:00

Sunday:
Race: 14:00 - 16:00

and US(Eastern) times are :-

Friday:
FP1:  05:00 - 06:00
FP2:  08:30 - 09:30

Saturday:
FP3:  05:00 - 06:00
Quali: 08:00 - 09:00

Sunday:
Race: 09:00 - 11:00

Prince Phillip was head of the BRDC at one point, so the FIA might have been among those asking for respect to be paid too. Besides, nobody wants a repeat of the Princess Diana situation, where Damon Hill ended up organising a mark of respect for her instead (which made the FIA look bad for not helping).

I've heard complaints that the majority of fans are from places who don't care about the Royal Family, but the majority of F1 comes from places which do (or at least, about this specific member), so it makes sense that space is being made in the schedules to honour his memory.
