More my comments than Hero's and Zero's.
This track was always going bring out the Safety Car but two Red Flags?
My understanding is if you gain a place after leaving the track you give it back but you also have to return to the track in a safe manner which I don't believe MV did although VB returning in the same place did so.
Tyre changes and repairs under red flag stoppages to me is wrong as it can change the outcome of a season let alone a race.
I think it's a positive for the track.

Your post was more views than hero's and zeros. Max and
one other driver were made to give their spots back but nothing was
done to others. Carlos , Alonso, and at least Vetter left the track
with no penalties. Nothing is set in stone
