Massa's Practise Crash

I for one was impressed with Massa's consistency, he's been looking for consistency for a while now, just a shame it was consistently crashing in the same place!

Ferrari has said that while the practice crash was driver error, the crash during the race was due to a failure of undetermined cause at the left front corner. Considering how hard he whacked the barrier Saturday, not to surprising if there was hidden damage that wasn't caught by the mechanics. An excellent argument for a spare car.

The left front corner failure could have been due to anything though.  He could have clipped a barrier somewhere earlier in the race, run over some debris, touched another car.  We just don't know.

Very true. Probably impossible to tell when the damage occurred.
