Fernandes: 'I'll Quit If We Don't Improve'

Talk about throwing your toys out of the pram before the season has started!  Wow!  How demotivating that must be for the drivers and the mechanics.  I can't believe what I've just read.

How can he sit there and basically claim that he has given them everything he needs and they should deliver?  Formula 1 is a lot more complicated than that, and he ought to be aware of this after four seasons in the sport.

Also, I remember when smaller teams were made of much sterner stuff than this.  Think about all those years in which Osella and Minardi toiled away without ever threatening to throw in the towel just because the top teams continually dominate the sport.

If he wants to make a point that the teams as a whole don't receive enough money, then I'll listen, because that's a legitimate complaint, but this just sounds like a lot of complaining about his staff and drivers, which surely is an internal problem that he should be working to address privately, rather than ranting about it in front of the media.

"Best infrastructure"?? "Best driver"?? Are you insane Mr. Tony? :fool: :fool:

Giving the teams a little peanut in terms of budget compared to others, and now he wants to get points? Is things that easy in F1? Ask that to Toyota, Honda who had invested much much more, but could not get near what they coveted for. Teams like Sauber, Williams who have been there for ages, are struggling for points, and Mr. Tony wants the points because he has given his team the Leafield facility? Best drivers? Last year your team choose two drivers on the merit of sponsorship, not in the merit of talent.

As QPR was relegated to Championship football from Premier league after his acquisition of the club(Translation : From 1st class to 2nd class), his team Caterham should be relegated to GP2/GP3, then Mr. Tony can find some excitement like football

2 parties  in the US are looking to enter F1 and
seeing Tony's not happy and hsa the best   infrastructure
it may be a good place for a new team to start
