ROAD & TRACK got a peak at the underside of the Mercedes F1 and asked Nick Wirth to explain the various aero bits:

Good stuff, Lonny. I had no Idea that the front suspension arms were matched to the front wing designs.

Good stuff Lonny, :good: not often they let us look under the car even after the end of the season.

Not sure I can get my head around all that's going on under the car, maybe I'm not alone seeing as the Merc is struggling to stay ahead of Sauber this year.  :D

Seems lapse of Merc to not have prevented this shot being taken.  Bet Ross is peeved ;)  looks like a Marshal snapped it or it's from a camera mounted on the crane that moved it after a retirement.
