Police: Man Steals $25,000 Tub; Scraps It For $413

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Louisville Metro Police said a man stole a steel tub used by hospitals to treat burn patients and sold it to a scrap metal dealer for $413.
According to police records, Donald E. Kiefer, 45, admitted to stealing the tub from Hicks Equipment.
Kiefer was also videotaped by surveillance cameras at River Metals Recycling, police said.
Kiefer is charged with theft.
