Speedway Motorsports Inc. chief Bruton Smith and bull boffin Randy Bernard are discussing offering a $20 million bonus for a driver winning the Indy 500 and the Charlotte 600 on the same day.

It sounds good on paper but I think the odds
of anyone doing it is slim and none.You'd need
a top car in both series which ain't going to happen
and ungodly luck too

The most likely scenario would involve a Gordon or Johnson who already have good NASCAR rides. If Hendrick waved enough money around, he could get a good IRL ride. I would love to see Montoya, Gorden, Stewart and a number of others at Indy. Were it up to me I'd move the 500 to Monday. it's more traditional gate.
