This report on Autosport seems to think it may happen again and it will become apparent by the end of July.
I saw the very first one at Brands and have kept an eye on through the years mainly as it was out of the F1 season and gave me something to watch.

I hope they make it. Like you say, it was something o watch during the off season. Plus, it was fun to see open wheel cars run at places like Brands, Zanvoort and Laguna Seca.

I doubt it as surely no one will ever take it seriously again - crappy drivers in over-rated cars does not a spectacle make.

I like the idea of nationality based race teams.
Open the doors to inclusion of open wheel racing as an Olympic event :good:

That's the very formula that NASCAR is making a fortune with.

And the same formula IRL used to defeat CART :tease:
Hmm. Maybe A1GP should focus on USA tracks?

yeah Lol cossie, but don't confuse the two as A1GP went bust in a very shabby way - like the Gold Coast, Aussie race was cancelled only three days before the event when the cars failed to arrive!
