Terrible news. But the best place for kids to race is on the track, under supervision, not out on back roads or side streets in town. If they are truly racers, and it seems he was, they will be racing somewhere.

Sad sad news. You're right lonny, kids will get thrills from racing any which way, so far better they are on track. Racing bikes and cars has always been and always will be dangerous, the best we can hope for is that all the precautions possible are taken. To me age is not relevant - there is no good age to die.
