Title: "We Must Give Trulli a Better Car"
Post by: cosworth151 on November 16, 2010, 12:51:29 PM
I agree wholeheartedly. Trulli deserve a car that can finish a race. Sadly, Lotus/1Malaysia/Whatever is taking a major step backward in the engine room next year. I'm just glad that Jarno will be back again.

Looks lke Petrov will be staying put at Renault, or whatever it will be called, next year then. For a while it looked like Tony would need to take Vitaly as part of the price for the engine contract.

I think Lotus was more unhappy with the tranny/ hydraulics system that came with the Cosworth deal than with the actual engine itself. Still, it's hard to argue with the WDC and WCC for the Renault/ Red Bull tranny package.
