Title: Indy Autonomous Challenge
Post by: lkjohnson1950 on October 27, 2021, 03:26:23 AM
Driverless cars at the Speedway! The first part of this video shows the driverless Indy Cars trying to turn laps. No actual racing, they were just trying to get 3 timed laps. Definitely not ready for prime time.

Not ready for prime time, but if I'm watching college sports, I'd rather watch this than exploited teens giving each other concussions

I think it's a great programme

I can't see the point in it. Without the human factor, there's nothing there. It dishonors the memory of every driver who ever gave their life for the sport.

It would work better in F1 where were used to
seeing cars in single file

As a racing series?

No.

As an annual college competition?  Absolutely yes!
