Talk about bad luck. A Honda Accord was stolen twice in one day and both thieves were caught.
Both times the car was stolen it was taken in Yakima County. The first incident happened in the morning when it was spotted by an unmarked police car, reports the Associated Press.
The officer saw it racing against another Honda Accord and gave chase, leading to the two cars splitting up.
The policeman continued to chase the stolen vehicle and watched the driver pull up and abandon the vehicle.
He then ran into a nearby house and the officer kicked the door down and arrested him.
While all of this was going on, another man got into the Accord and he too stole the vehicle.
Once again, the car was abandoned, this time because it had a flat tyre, but officers soon hunted the thief down and arrested him.
So, it was a day of bad luck for the rightful owner of the car and bad luck for the two men who stole it all in the space of one day.
