New to men and motors, 'So You Want To Be An F1 Driver' charts the progress of aspiring F1 drivers as they are put through their paces in a series of gruelling challenges.
This action packed show will find out which of the contestants has what it takes to be the best, and realise the ultimate dream of racing an F1 car.
The preliminary round of the 'Shell Optimax F1 driver's challenge' was entered by a staggering 2000 wannabe F1 drivers.
The successful contestants will progress through a series of increasingly powerful cars from saloon cars through Sports 2000; Formula Renault single-seaters; to Formula 3 and then the ultimate experience for the 3 finalists will getting behind the wheel of a Formula 1 car.
