Giancarlo Fisichella is taking legal action against Eddie Jordan, suing him for money owed from the 2003 Formula One season, claiming that he is yet to be paid in full.
Since the two parties falied to come to an agreement in private, Fisichella has brought the case before London High Court and is expected to be heard soon.
Refusing to give details, Fisichella's manager Enrico Zanarini told autosport.com, "This has been an ongoing issue for two years. It's a private matter that is not about racing, so we do not wish to involve the media."
The lawsuit does not involve Midland; the team to whom Eddie Jordan sold his F1 outfit in 2004.
