Massa- I just cannot rate him that highly
Alonso- I admire him as a driver, he is brilliant but his personality is just so grating.  His team mate is probably the worst driver on the grid but Alonso is very unlikeable.
Hamilton- I really liked him before he got into F1 and showed incredible arrogance before he had won anything.  Sadly I have not been able to get my support back for him.

Massa
Webber
Piquet

It's not I don't like them it's more about the underperformance, I'm sure they are very nice chaps, it's about how they race for me so here's my bottom 3.

Bourdais.
Piquet
Raikkanon

Is this just for the present crop or can we also list "pet hates" from the past ?

1.  Massa
2.  Massa
3.  Massa

I really can't think of anyone else.  And Massa only gets it because of his pathetic theft of points from Bourdais last year.

In that case I suppose I have to say Alonso, followed very closely by Massa and Fizi - both bloody whingers. :good:

To be honest, I haven't seriously disliked a driver since Juan Pablo Montoya. I may have got annoyed with specific actions from drivers, but Juan was the last one to do it on a regular basis.

Hamilton
Button
Alonso....

Hami (in my opinion) hasn't earned his place, it was gifted to the ingrate

Button - Until now, slow and arrogant, believes he is better than he really is

Alonso - Good driver (mostly) just can't keep the verbal diarrhea and mental constipation

As always I could be wrong and this is just my opinion

I think most dislikes seem to stem from percieved 'arrogance'. I haven't met a succesful driver that wasn't arrogant. If we saw more drivers interviewed in our own languages I wonder whether the list of dislikes would grow (because the arrogance would be more obvious).
My kids and I met the Hamiltons through karting and they were really nice people so they are not on my list. I'm a Jenson Button fan and I think he stayed proffessional and 'reasonable' during difficult times so he is not on my list.

My list:-
Alonso - hugely talented but arrogant
Kimi - talented but lazy and arrogant
Shumacher - arrogant, talented and arrogant
Irvine - arrogant, arrogant, useless and arrogant

Hamilton's were a lot hungrier when they were karting probably - once the multi-millions were signed for, like so many, it goes to their heads and suddenly they equate income with power.  Simply that (apparently) they can force (blackmail) someone like Ron Dennis out of F1 after he supported them from Lewis' pre-teens, and was a leader in F1 for 30 years, is astonishing.  I hope a more positive explanation comes out at some point, but with the majority of the press reporting the same, it is hard to judge them on anything else.

Here's my list of all-time least favourites: Irvine, Raikkonen and Coulthard. I was going to choose Lewis but he's a better driver than that lot so he's saved... for now :D

Take care Max may be taking notes, if he can stop enjoying himself for long enough!  ;)

I'm still trying to catch up on "lost posts" so forgive me, but I've read the last 10 or so posts on this page and haven't come across a single GP drivers name that I recognise.

Have they all changed over the weekend? :fool:

Thats the beauty of GPWizard, if a topic starts on Ron Dennis and ends on everyone talking about goldfish then so be it.

I have seen many forums with very strict rules on what and where you can talk about on various subjects, this in my opinion is wrong. I would rather consider each topic as a 'discussion starter' and see where it ends up, after all haven't we all been talking to someone and all of sudden you wonder 'how on earth did we get onto this subject?'.

I know this is a forum and needs some sort of order and I like to think I do this in my usual chaotic way.

The world would be a boring place if we all had to talk about the same subject at the same time in the same place. Chat away my friends - chat away.

As far as I can tell from 2nd and 3rd hand, neither Clark nor Graham Hill (my heroes) were arrogant. But then they didn't earn the kind of money these modern guys do. I think if enough people keep telling you how great, wonderful, special you are, eventually you start believing it. That's why I'm becoming a Vettal fan, he doesn't seem arrogant yet. YET!
