Cool stuff, I haven't played GP Legends in years but I do remember the shocking realism of it.  :swoon:

I just started playing it again. It has 65 and 69 mods and
the 66 mods are due any day.The 69 have wingd both high
and low and are fairly easy to drive compared to 67.You
can even load the Monza track from the movie Grand Prix
with the banks :yahoo:

Do you use a steering wheel? I would imagine it's impossible without one.

Are you playing the original from years ago? I would love to have another go but alas I mainly use laptops now and have no wheel.  :(

Lap times  :DD

I downloaded the demo only to find you can't play with the keyboard at all. Next step is to buy a controller, so off I trot to the town were there is a distinct lack of controllers for PC's, I didn't want a wheel because I only use laptops for their compact size and a wheel would defeat the object.

I settle for a standard controller (the only one available) and head back home. Only to find that when playing the game I have two steering options - full lock left or full lock right! - Useless!  >:(

Off I go again to the BIG PC store to see what they could do for me. Luckily they stock a PS2 controller for the PC - Great!  :) Now I finally have graduated steering, throttle and brake control.

After a few laps on novice mode I remember how hard (and realistic) this game is. All I need now is for the wife to stop talking to me while I'm trying to play  >:D and then we will talk about lap times!
