I spent a good 2 hours a few weeks ago going over the entire project and found it utterly facinating. The entire book chronicling the build is reproduced at that web site or you can order your own book for.....$4500 US.
I have found a few sites linking to this since then and the comments weren't too kind, but I got the feeling the negative comments had more to do with who comissioned the car rather than the engineering.
I don't work in the automotive field but do have an appreciation for craftsmanship and this build, to me at least, was simply stunning.
