Too funny (but not for some).  Dropping the anchor is pretty much the first thing you should do with a ship in distress, especially if it is near shore.  If nothing else it helps stabilize it for rescue and recovery.  Tripping into a lifeboat is pretty lame.  I think this guy (especially with the Italian courts) is going away for a long time.
