'White Van Man' became a term for rude and reckless drivers of white transit vans after it was apparently coined by a radio presenter in 1997...There is an article to read at:

I think the white van man term is onlu used in the UK. Perhaps its just our vans that travel at 150mph flashing you to get out of the way!

Over here, we only do 120 mph, and that lets us run with traffic. (but only in Florida and most of the west.)
