Marko apologises, accepts Max did brake on Hamilton

I wonder if he is under pressure from Dietrich Mateschitz. Marko and Horner (and of course Verstappen's dirty driving) have been bringing the Red Bull brand into disrepute. Perhaps they have been told to stop trying to cover up the obvious.

Well that's a start. It would be even better to hear an apology from Max himself.

I'm pretty sure they shook hands in the Stewards room.

I reckon Marko is making the apology on his own behalf, he is clearly on record saying Max never braked, that was before he had all the facts, with hindsight and the penalty he can't stick with that story.

Mateschitz is unlikely to care as long as Red Bull gets plenty of extra media coverage. Red Bull target market is not us over 60s but the netflix generation of 35 & under, - you know the age group that love to post vids of stupid dangerous stunts, oh and the ones who voted Max driver of the day on F1.com.  ;)

As much as I hate to cut Marko and Horner any slack... they have microphones and cameras in their faces long before they have all the facts.  Of course, it would be easy to say 'I'm going to have to look into it before I can say anything', but where's the the fun in that?

I say anytime someone appears to attempt to hit another car, exclusively let Damon Hill handle the interviews.  He's got an iceberg sized chip about that, and I love it.

Marko does apologize but does so in such a way as he blames his own engineers for giving him wrong information. What a TWAT!
He did not say HE was wrong, only THEY were wrong.
He can never be wrong, Max can never be wrong, Horner can never be wrong.

Hmm. I wonder why Damon has a thing about people who deliberately crash into someone? Hmm.
