Gas Prices in Great Britain
« on: May 01, 2007, 10:42:27 PM »
I was wondering about gas prices over there.Do they stay
fairly stable or do they go up and down like a yo-yo.Around
April 21st gas was approx. $2.60 a gallon, then three days
later it's $2.99 a gallon. Is that just here or do you all have
to put up with it to

What about Australia Rom,same thing?

We get big price variations depending on where you are, too. If I drive the 20 or so miles from my home here in Lancaster up to Interstate 70, the prices are usually 10 to 15 cents per gal. cheaper. Going from state to state can lead to big jumps, too. Conn. and Cal. are the highest.

gas was $2.98 a gallon yesterday, had a article in the
paper saying they predict gas has reached it's summer
high,that was a relief till I paid $3.15 today.Could just
be the yearly gouge the derby visitors price increase. But
then I remember our government investigated and
couldn't find any evidence of price gouging :DD

We don't get gas prices per gallon here (at least I don't think so) we all just get the bill for what we have used and you never know what you're actually paying for.

It's about £4:50 to £5 per gallon, that's about $9 or $10 to you dare and cosworth, what do you think of that then.

It's an old fashioned yo-yo here......we have been as high as $1.35 per litre (quarter of a gallon...as far as I know) and it's been as low as $1.06 in the past 12 months, currently it is at $1.26.9........costs me around $60 per week in fuel and every second week it's $120.......
