I didn't recognise the name until I saw the pictures. It feels like the end of an era when one of your childhood memories passes doesn't it?

I spent many a weekend in the neighborhood movie houses
watching Steeve Reeves and Gordon Scott movies, along
with the Hammer horror movies and the beach movies.

Sorry to hear about that. I know what you mean, Dare. I used to do the same thing at the old Lyric theater here in town. It cost a whole quarter to get in, and another 15 cents for popcorn,  but it was worth it.

Cos,did you have the old soft drink machines where
your cups would come down sideways and the softdrink
would miss the cup

Of course! Your choice of orange, grape, cherry or lemon-lime in a usualy sideways paper cup for a dime!
