Wurz grumbles about team's Friday policy
« on: June 16, 2007, 02:48:00 PM »
Alex Wurz hinted on Friday that he is not happy with Williams' policy of using a test driver on most Fridays in 2007.

The Grove based team's racers alternate sitting out the morning session at races when GP2 driver Kazuki Nakajima, with close ties to engine partner Toyota, is available to drive.

At Indianapolis, it was Wurz's turn to skip the action, but his quest to set up the car in the afternoon then took another setback in the form of a gearbox oil leak.

When the normally steadfast team player was asked by broadcaster ORF what he thought of Williams' policy, Wurz answered: "You are asking the wrong person.

"If we did not have the (technical) problem then we would have had enough time to make some progress with the setup. But I have to say that I was not content with the setup that was handed over to me."
