Is Massa beating Raikkonen
« on: June 30, 2008, 04:03:08 PM »
massa has won 3 races to raikkonen's 2 and has more points but does this mean that he's beating Raikkonen or is Raikkonen just having bad luck especially in france and australia which is letting massa capatilize on his misfortune

I think in the end Raikkonen will come out ahead.  Massa only won in France because of Kimi's car problems and of course Lewis assisted Massa in Canada.  Altough it may not look like it now I think that the title will be between Kimi and Lewis.  They have both found unusual ways of not scoring points recently but that is temporary.  Massa couldn't beat Kimi last year when he knew the team, he knew the car and he had Michael Schumacher operating him by remote control.  There is no way he can beat him over a season from an even start even if Kimi has managed to lose the advantage given to him by Massa's two DNFs at the start of the season.

you're right i think it will be between raikkonen and hamilton but don't rule out massa as he can surprise people especially with the pole in monaco where he said he hated the track

I doubt Massa could take it to the end of the season without self-destructing.

Massa is good and he is definately taking the fight to Kimi. However there are a lot of races left, so I am expecting Kimi to prevail.
Lewis is on a steep learning curve and expect him to make more mistakes as he goes on. I wouldn't be surprised if he lost it towards the end of the mid season.

Hamilton claims his confidence is still the same but thats rubbish. after a pit lane incident and a drive through penalty he won't be the same for a while

Kimi is streets ahead of Massa .............. in everything where F1 is concerned.

He'll win the championship again. He is the best there is.

Raikkonen is one of the best drivers ever in formula 1. the only people who were better than him were Senna,Prost,Schumacher(Michael), Fangio and Clark

Its a Pity Kimi has only one WDC. He was robbed of atleast another two due to the unreliability of Mclaren.

Well, FM is far better than a lot of people rate him, especially in qualifying, but IMO KR has wearied of F1 and is not as hungry as he once was.

He may retire next year as some rumours are saying.

Still has oodles of more talent than most of the others though and driving a car as good as the 2008 FERRARI must surely be one helluva bonus.

Steady on jb - KR is a huge driving talent but has not got a clue in handling press conferences, people and his contracted F1 PR responsibilities etc.

In fact I have seen more 'engagement' from old moss-covered brick walls!

Comes across to me as an "I-am-the-star" arrogant p***k.

His public persona is so b pathetic Felipe easily wipes the floor with him on that score.
