SCCA Runoffs to Road America

The biggest road racing orginization in the United States, the Sports Car Club of America, has announced that it is moving its national championships to Road America. The week long SCCA Runoffs now have a three year contract with the Elkhart Lake, Wisconson track. The event averages over 650 cars per year.

The event was held ta Heartland Park in Topeka, Kansas for the past three years. For the 14 years before that, it was held at Mid Ohio Sports Car Course near Lexington, Ohio. That's only a couple of hours from my home. It was always quite a show. I miss having it up there.
