Big move and New for Rom

Well, to all my good and dear friends here.  I can finally let the whole cat out of the bag, I resigned from my job today here in Gladstone.  I will be moving early in the new year to Brisbane to start my new job working directly for Konica Minolta.  This has been in the works for a couple of months now and has finally come to fruition.  I will not be online quite as much for a while... but I'll certainly be here when I can.

For Dare, I will still be doing the GG spreadsheet for next year for you mate.

I'll keep you all upto date with any new developments.

Congratulations on the move-up, Rom.  Are you going to sneak in a month or two of R&R in between, or do you have to stick it out in Gladstone until you start in Brisbane?  I've always been a firm believer that when I change jobs, I always make sure I have at least a month between ("Sorry, can't start tomorrow, I've got some personal family business to take care of - see you next month!").  Makes you hungry to go back to work too.

All the best in Brisbane (just down the coast a bit, eh?).  We'll look forward to you jumping in on the more contentious issues.

UPDATE:

Well I am 50% moved... moving the last half of my stuff tomorrow.  Once I have moved I'll be offline for a while, until I drag my new housemate out of the stoneage and get broadband connected.  I hope everyone stays well, and, for those attending, have a great time at the karting.  For Dare and Cos, boys... have several drinks... and post all the muck-ups they have on here so I can join you in giving them all a hard time.
