Windsor rubbishes USF1 rumours
« on: November 09, 2009, 11:36:30 AM »

Peter Windsor has hit back strongly about the suggestion that USF1 will not be ready for the 2010 season and takes a swipe at Auto Motor und Sport. He also seems to be saying the basis of the story is in some way linked to the Sauber camp, surely not?

I hope they make it onto the grid, the new teams will add some much needed extra interest. :good:

When was Sauber's 'drop dead' date again?

They can't expect their workers to just wait and hope.  Whatever beef the FIA has with Sauber/BMW, it's not fair to play games with these people's futures.

It shouldn't even matter that other teams might have troubles.  Toyota is out, the 13th spot is available.  End of story.  Todt and the FIA dicking around with them is disgusting.  Either grant the grid place or tell the world that you were 'just kidding' when it was said that the 13th spot would be Sauber's if anyone else dropped out.   >:D >:D
