Title: Meet Buddy

As many of you know after the loss of Toby Mrs Wiz and I were mortified and it made us realise just what a big hole Toby had left in our lives. To this end is was without a doubt that we would have another dog and recently we have started the process of finding a suitable companion.

Well after weeks of searching I would like you all to meet 'Buddy' the new GPW Mascot.

We went to see the litter last weekend and Buddy basically chose us! He is only 5 weeks old at the moment so we have to wait until June 22nd before he comes home with us.

Buddy is a Golden Labrador Retriever (working kind) and has a pedigree that any dog would be jealous of. Both his parents are gun dog champions with his Dad being only dog to win the championship twice! Buddy's full name is Buddy Wiz of Cameron Meadowdale.  :D

Mrs Wiz and I are very excited about Buddy coming home and I will post some more pictures when he is watching the British GP with me.  :good:

Congratulations Wizzo!  Puppies are so darned cute, but it sounds like Buddy will be smart as a whip when he is older too.  Really nice Lab.

Happy for Wizzo & Mrs Wiz, because sudden demise of Toby hit them pretty hard

Looking forward for the British to have his company :)

Buddy is home with us.  :yahoo:

We picked him up this morning and so far he has settled in just fine. The 45min car journey was a breeze with him not making a sound and looking out the window on Mrs Wiz's lap.

So far he has investigated the house and garden together with eating and sleeping and leaving several messages in the front room. I have softly played a couple of F1 you tube videos to get him used to the sound and he took it all in his stride. Roll on Silverstone!  :D

I thought you mike like to see how Buddy GPW Mascot is doing now. He's a little bit bigger than the original pictures.  ::)

Face on an angel - he is cheeky, a trickster and a little devil. We love him to bits.  :D
