Title: Renault in trouble
Post by: Wizzo on March 16, 2006, 01:25:27 PM
After Renault questioned the Ferrari's wing, it is now suggested that that Renault team faces an FIA inspection in Malaysia following doubts about the bodywork of the R26 car.

R26 unique rear wing end plates are designed to bend at high speed, thus reducing wind drag.

I can save the FIA some time here. ALL Renaults flex at just about any speed!  :DD

If by some remote chance a BMW does encounter a minor technical error then I am sure it happens precisely, how and when, BMW designed it to do so.

Of course the vehicle would have foreseen this inconvenience, probably several weeks ahead and would of either politely informed the driver or taken such action as to rectify the problem.

“Vorsprung Dur…………….”, ah crap, that’s the other lot!

A BMW would call the car back to the pits every couple of laps. Once to do the brakes then 2 laps later to do the tyres, another 2 laps later to check the oil......and on it goes ;)
