Title: Nissan self healing paint???
Post by: Wizzo on March 05, 2006, 08:43:20 AM
Surely this must be the biggest leap in automotive innovation since the pop-out cup holder, 'Scratch Guard Coat' paint with self-healing.

Lacking none of the shiny luster of your normal metallic, the coating is made of a special resin that protects the underlying paint and gradually melts back into smooth perfection when damaged.  8)

Should some little oik decide to take a key to your pride and joy any scratches will, according to Nissan, disappear within a few days. As you can see from the before and after above, it's the perfect antidote to parking your car in dodgy Supermarket car parks.

F1 Wizard says..........."It can only cope with mild abrasions so don't expect your car to pop back into shape when you wrap it round a nearby tree."  ;D
