Nice pic Rom.  :good:

If you are buying a Telescope Dare my advise is spend the money for a decent one. I purchased one last year, it wasn't that expensive and I was pretty disappointed. The tripod makes a big difference, my one wobbled about and made it a curse to use.

Very nice pictures Rom  :good:

Dare you should have a word with Neil. He has a telescope for "looking at ladies across the meadow" hehe

What was her name again Neil?? Miss Ponsbury?? hehe

Ju

Ju, just to put the record straight, that telescope is used entirely for scientific purposes only. Not once has it been used in a voyeuristic nature, and it has certainly never been used to ogle at the young Miss PONSONBY in her pink bloomers parading around her boudoir, that is some 400 yards away across the aforementioned meadow.

Anyway, sorry for going off topic Rom, some nice snaps there mate.

Thank you guys and Gal,

Very cool with the telescope.  I may look into purchasing some stuff for Astro-photography... but that'll be around $5,000 AUD just for the starter kit.... :P

I will get some wildlife yet... it's just a matter of having the time to go out and capture it.... :)  I will try during the christmas break I'm being forced to take....

In the meantime check out this guys stuff... some great motorsport shots in here.

Our Neil got himself the large size telescope. He didn't get the tripod, either.

Yeah, that's one of my telescopes Cos, I lent it to ol' Deppo, still ain't got it back ::). That was straight once, Mrs Prodworthy put pay to that, she only went and sat on it after I'd left it on the chaise lounge after trotting off to bed one night. Still, that'll teach me for not putting my equipment away after some strenuous scientific gazing.

However, every cloud... and all that. It transpires that the telescope is brilliant for those difficult tasks, now that it can see round corners. You know, the ones where it's best that you are out of sight. Just the ticket for checking out various wildlife and other stuff...
