Villenue at Daytona
« on: January 17, 2008, 03:50:55 PM »
NASCAR has started its 2008 testing at Daytona. This is the first time on the high-banked super speedway for NASCAR's new spec-racer "Car of Tomorrow." (COT)

Former F1 champion Jacques Villeneuve, driving the Bill Davis Racing Toy Camery, has impressed some of his fellow drivers. Carl Edwards, driver of the Roush Fenway Motorsports #99 Ford Fusion, had this to say:

"Jacques Villeneuve, I can tell you one thing, he can sure drive a loose race car. I was following him today, and he came off Turn Four sideways with the wheel turned to the right. He's a race car driver."

Edwards is one of NASCAR's "young guns," who finished last season in 9th place. He is famous for doing a back flip off of his car every time he wins.
