Jacques Villeneuve the brother of Gilles and uncle of 1997 world champion Jacques has been seriously injured at the snowmobile world championship.  His snowmobile slowed due to technical problems and he was hit at high speed by another competitor.  He has multiple fractures to his spine, pelvis and legs.

Tough breed these Villeneuves.  Jacques has been released from hospital and flown home.  I think if I had his injuries I would stay in hospital for 6 months.
