Aus GP 2019
« on: March 15, 2019, 06:56:00 AM »
I'm here in Melbourne ready for a fantastic weekend of racing for this season opener. The atmosphere here is amazing. I went to the season launch held in Federation Square and that was a lot of fun - I believe it was broadcast live globally but not sure if any other GPW's saw it? I'm wondering how it transferred to broadcast in terms of atmosphere?

Got a decent spot on the Melbourne Walk on Thursday and got lots of driver signatures and photos (will post pics on gallery when I'm back home) plus a few others - Alain Prost, Adrian Newey, Christian Horner, Cyril Abiteboul and Clare Williams. Wonderful atmosphere already at the track and very excited for Saturday quali and Sunday racing.

I echo the sentiments above Rob!

Must feel fantastic to rub shoulders with some of the elite in the F1 world, not to mention a grand collection of squiggly lines (erm, autographs, sigs etc).   Look forward to seeing your shots when you return home.

Please bring us back some XXXX, Fosters or, go on then, a couple of grid girls ... I know, I know!!  :-[

Best Regards,
Cal :)
