Flying F1 cars.....Is this how motorsport will look in the 21st century?

The tech is different but isn't this just a take on the R/B Air Races?

As cool as flying races are... I think that part of what appeals for motorracing is it's something we can imagine ourselves doing.  Sure my commute is just a series of waiting at redlights, but it's not hard to imagine waiting for that red light to go out and racing to that first corner.

I'm never sitting around in my hover car wishing to race anyone.

I'm with you on this one Jeri, if model plane racing is the future then leave me out of it.

I can kinda get FE series even though I don't think it's a good racing spectacle, but remote flying cars just leaves me cold.

And hey how they gonna police track limits with this when it's already a problem with cars?   :DntKnw: 

I can see it might catch on if they get to having actual pilots onboard, sort of pod racing Star Wars style.  FPod series :D

They do settle the problem of downforce.   ::)
