Title: F1 teams to get $450k allowance on budget cap for Sprint Races
Post by: John S on May 02, 2021, 12:08:22 PM
Plus $100k per wrecked car, or more if they can show higher costs.

Kinda makes sense now that Wolff was sounding off about 'Million Pound' repair for the wrecked Merc. Seems he's trying to establish a high base figure in the mind of the auditors - ah but will they be fooled.  :D

Warning - you'll need to read past the arcane legal language from F1 rule book in the pitpass piece to get to the nitty gritty.

I guess we won't have "Sprint Races." According to the FIA's Department of Linguistic Gymnastics, they are "Sprint Qualifying." We can't have more than one F1 "race" in a given weekend.

I heard someone think of it like a red flagged session that is resumed on Sunday.
